In the summer of 1974 I had the good fortune to catch Irwin's act at the Frolics night club at Salisbury Beach in Massachusetts. I missed one of his funny answers to a woman from the audience because I spilled a drink on my pants. Maybe somebody out there can remember his answer? The woman explained that she was on a diet and was hoping to learn who many calories there were in a serving of sperm.

I believe I asked her if she was inviting me to
"Come for dinner", but I have a question for
you. Do you remember who the musical act
was that evening?

Dear Irwin,
I believe the musical act was the late and entirely unlamented lounge singer Jerry Charles, who was memorable only for his somewhat odd shaped head, but completely forgettable in regards to his crooning (or lack of) ability.
Yours,
Mrs. Newhouser

I did post an answer last week but for some reason it didn't post. My first guess was Ginger Court the topless hypnotist. She had a singer backing her up named something like Kip Camino. Other guesses would be a band called The Gringos or Incredible Two Man Band. I would love to have my memory refreshed!
